The Allard Foundation prides itself on supporting our communities.
Playgrounds provide key socialization, promote health and foster community connection and well being. We acknowledge that community playgrounds require maintenance and new builds when municipalities deem a playground unsafe or reaching its end of life. The Allard Foundation has created a playground redevelopment fund and allocates up to $40,000 annually to assist communities with their fundraising efforts. Each playground can be granted $5,000 maximum per year.
Applicants must demonstrate that they are receiving funds from a wide variety of funding sources including community fundraising, local grants, CFEP, etc. They must also provide a CRA registered charity number (RR #), or if coordinating with a municipality, such as the City of Edmonton, they must provide a letter with the registration number from that municipality.
